Composition rerunMember March 31, 2008 at 2:57 pm Hi, Could anybody recommend a book on composition? Cheers, r. Alan RossiterParticipant March 31, 2008 at 3:06 pm Try this one. It is deep and lost my concentration many times but has the elements of composition. It is highly recommended and I do own it myself. Just go into a quietened room away from distractions. But it is certainly worth the purchase. Hope this helps. It goes through the basics and also the formal elements of composition before before showing them all in action. There are lots of great example shots that also have technical details such as focal length and shutter speed for them. I found it really helpful from a beginners point of view. Conor.
