I have to admit that I had big luck with the light because the day did not start very good weatherwise…
I like November in Ireland on days lik that…
I’m always trying to stress the “foreground” point …
I dont know if I over did it a bit….(?)

    Best Regards,

    Hey Markus,

You should resize your photos to something a bit more manageable. 800 * 600 seems to be the norm round these parts.

Good shot though, from what I could see of it.

I like this photo. To see it, I had to download it and open it separately because it would not fit in my browser.

The light is lovely. The sky has a bit of a grainy look to it. Perhaps you shot at a high ISO? Your metadata doesn’t seem to say.

Something about the composition is a bit lacking. I think the stile is possibly over-prominent. Going backwards might have meant going downhill, so maybe wasn’t an option.

I like it Markus. Very moody sky but I quite like the light you’ve brought
into the foreground. Definitely heed Constantine’s advice though and resize for
    normal browser viewing. Nice shot.

Pretty good shot, this one. I wonder how it would look if tken from a higher point without the fence blocking the mountain so much, i.e. it would just doinate the lower third? Really nice exposure and great colour.

I really like this, colours are so rich, vibrant and deep. I think the fence/gate adds alot to this image bue I would agree with Joe and would like to see it from a slightly higher point of view to see more of the mountain unobstructed. I’d love a print of this!

    Thanks guys,

When I took the shot I was actually standing in a drive way and I tryed to frame it so that you cant see the mud and stones .. otherwise I would have moved the fense a bit further away, it is a bit dominant… I’m always concerned about the foreground interest.. and with this shot I overdid it…I like the idea about the higher view point!!

Pete4130: We can talk about the print. Pls contact me personally! Or check out more images taken on the same day!!
