Lovely image Jason, it’s got a real old feel to it.

Thanks Dave, it was one of those scenes you know how you want to process it immediately when clicking the shutter.

Nice photo, after spending a week there at the end of July it really is a photographers paradise, miss it and cant wait to get back

Lovely composition – you obviously paid the fishermen to anchor there. :D

I think you have tried to create a bit of drama in the sky with some local contrast alterations (?), and whilst it looks great in the centre of the image, the edges seem a bit lacking. Can you extend the treatment towards the borders of the image?

Jason while you have a nice composition I’m afraid the lack of strong directional lighting leaves your picture a bit on the flat side and the IR effect is hardly noticeable. Sorry to be on the negative side but on another day with better lighting you would have a much stronger image here.

Danjo – yes a beautiful place indeed would have liking to overnighted locally though as had a bit of a drive and didnt get much photo time as would like.

Hi Steve, no local adjustments just overall bumped up the blacks in levels and IR B&W conversion layer with reduced opacity as just wanted subtle. it prob could be pushed further but that’s where my small bit of PS skills are tested.

Tex, I know what you mean unfortunately this was a family holiday and it was mid afternoon quick shot (lucky the kids let me bring the camera :) ), would have loving to have been able to do the trip myself early or late afternoon when the light might have been better.
