Connemara Highway

The R344 road through Connemara, County Galway with the Maumturk Mountains in the distance.
Well done John, I really like this. The dramatic sky makes the shot, nice conversion also.

Yes indeed, very nice conversion,
Nice and clear and the composition is good.
There are 2 things that catch me eye every
time I see this and I have been here to visit
a few times.first is that the image is over sharpened
the tell-tale sign is along the tops of the mountains
there is a thin white line, the image may not need
to be as heavily sharpened as it is.Secondly there is a light streak along the mountain
slope on the right which is a little distracting, as a
photographer I find it distracting, the general public
may not see itAnyway I really like this scene, well taken.

I like this a lot. I would also like to see the colour version if possible.
impressiv space with excellent grey balance. I drove that road as well last week but couldn’t see anything. I missed it.
To clean the fine white line in the right corner (mountainhorizon) would make the image perfect. Did you use dodge& burn in PS? M*Thanks Madeleine. I agree that this version needs a bit more work (I have actually improved the one I’m getting printed along the lines you suggested).
