Connemara Road

This is my first critique post on this forum. Please don’t go easy on me! All C&C welcome.
This is the R344 road which goes from Kylemore Lough to Recess, between the Mamturks and the Twelve Bens . The sun decided to come out for a total of 30 seconds, and I was able to quickly grab this image. Unfortunately the 800px limit doesn’t do the crop much justice.

Focal Length: 18mm
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/250 sec
Camera: Canon EOS 30D
Lens: EFS 17-55
This is a really stunning shot, cant say anything bad about it personally ;) I love the composition and the crop, and it looks like you got lucky with the light as well! Great capture

What I found interesting about this image in particular, was how much cropping it increased its impact. The original crop out of the camera had nice light, but just didn’t work, as you can see below. It’s also without processing as I cropped it before I decided it was worth the effort.
