Here’s another alternative to Mark’s print washer –

    Hi David,

Seen the print tray-washers for Paterson – relatively inexpensive too.

Does anyone know the capacity of these washers, and how many prints you can wash simultaneously ?

    Here’s another option…

Some kind of basin that drains into a 5 gallon tank would be handy for a darkroom-
Cheap(ish) containers are 5 litre water bottles, especially if you happen to use bottled water anyway-

They’re useful as a water supply, and for storing re-usable chemicals- Hypo, fixer, etc…

Update: project stalled for foreseeable present. For now I am currently focussing my efforts on adapting a smaller, make-shift space (bathroom, minus bath).

    Hi Damien.
The bathroom may be a more suitable space than the bedroom. I used to use a small bedroom to process b&w and colour many years ago. Dust was a major consideration. The bathroom would be less likely to have this problem ie wall tiles don’t tend to hold much dust & the flooring is probably more suitable.

Lol, I hear you Miki.. although in my case there will be a fine trade-off between the threat of dust and the threat of claustrophobia :)
