Cool Moon Halo

Caught this moon halo a few nights ago. It’s an awesome sight to behold, it was huge. Used a canon 40d and sigma 10-20mm
That’s a sign of a storm coming. The firther away it is the nearer the storm. I found it was about 5 days away. You can call me an oul woman, for telling oul womans tales, but I heard this years ago and it seemed to follow that about 5-7 days after there was a storm.

Winds backing southerly will strengthen further on Sunday, reaching gale force in exposed places. Rain in the northwest and west during the morning will spread countrywide later, turning heavy in places.
Having said that Accuweather have it as a typical “soft” day – a little breezy and wet.
