First post to PI hope I’ve done this correctly.

Coornagillagh is on the Coast road, Beara Peninsular and this spot is so easy to miss.

Welcome Dave, a lovely scene the little boat adds interest
to it maybe a little bit over saturated? But very nice all
    the same :)

    Not too saturated, methinks.

PS are you an amateur or an amatuer?

    Thanks everyone

Shutterbug – Just the in camera saturation settings as recommended by nikonians.

rc53 – I’m the worst breed, graphic artist who wants to be a photographer.
Like to be in the great outdoors free of remit.

and Jason, two minutes walk from my Sister-in-laws place, probably my favourite location. I’ll get some more posted soon.
A few minutes in the opposite direction is Gleninchiquin a lovely glen with loughs and a waterfall.

    Nice photo, Dave.

Here’s another one of the same place. I wouldn’t say too many people go there.

And, yes, I know the pic’s soft but it’s with a Canon kit lens. And I know it’s skew-ways as well.

    Welcome to PI mate
The first one is very good, try a crop right under the boat to remove the foreground and horrible shadow, it looks 10 times better

    Thanks Kevin,
The beauty of being off the Ring of Kerry is that it doesn’t attract so many people. Usually have the whole strand to myself.
It can get the full force of the storms sometimes, had to advise a couple with their baby to move their tent off the beach a couple of years ago.

Thanks Dee, I’ll give it a try, but I kinda like the foreground rocks and shadow.
