    I need some advice from all you lot who live down south……

    Where is a good place to live in cork, what areas should be avoided……,

    I think you need to give us a bit more information, will you be working down here and if so where. Also do you have your own transport or public transport.

    Just taking a well earned break for a week or two during the summer.

    Interested in Hill walking, Kayaking and getting out and about with the camera both in the city and the countryside.

    Looking at renting a house in cork centrally for the missus to go shopping and leave me alone.

    I have my own transport.

    Hi Adrain.

    I normally holiday in West Cork myself, more than enough down there to keep you busy. Not a lot of shopping though unless you go somewhere like Bantry or Clonakilty. Another option would be East Cork, Midleton or Cobh and herself could get the train into the city. I had an excellent weeks kayaking in Bantry bay last year, I was lucky enough to get good weather.
