Cork City at night

Few shots I took in Cork City a couple of days ago.
Nikon D700 + Nikon 24-70 f/2.8
Second one is very nice.. Lovely tones to it.. Sometimes street shots can be too orange but got the hall nicely
Two well taken photos. The colours in #2 are wonderful, as already said.
The border is a bit over-powering for me, perhaps the white band is not nessesary. Personal taste.Martin
I think i like borders – particularly the 2nd one.
Think it makes the colours more prominent.
But like martin says mightn’t be everyones cupo’tea….Thank you all for the comments. I am not a big fan of borders but when I am dealing with night shots, and because the border is so black, I feel that a form of separation is needed. This is my personal opinion :roll:
Two lovely long exposures here Ovidiu..Great detail and very well composed. Number 2 would be my favourite. Did you do much in the way of post processing with either?

Flipsake. I’m glad I made the city proud..like! :)
daithi33 . The only post processing was to adjust the white balance and to crop. What you see here is only 20% of the original shot :)
