Cork Docklands – Color

The Docklands are supposed to be redeveloped soon enough, though i’m unsure if this going to go ahead within the next few years due to the recession and all the jazz.. As they are still very much working docklands, it could be a good while yet. Well here are some more shots, a handful from my basket. I’ve yet to meet RestlessNative there, but we’re bound to bump into each other sometime ;-)

AlanExcellent Alan, I really like #2 and #4. I struggle with colour so it’s good to see your take on it in colour
The working docks are a big part of the charm of Cork for me, hopefully no one will have enough money to develop it now :)

Yip, i think the recession has bit the developers in the ass…
I was talking to a guy who works there the other night and apparently they are in no hurry to shut up shop here…

I have never actually talked to anyone there but I was over there on Wednesday lunchtime talking to a drunk guy and he said I looked like Elvis 8)
You met a nice guy so.. all i get is abuse from the drunks there… the same 2 knobs all the time.. :-)
I used to work for architects who did a scheme to re develop the whole area for some developers, but if it’s any consolation it got nowhere. :twisted:
