Couminoole Beach – I love you

This was taken on Couminoole beach – this beach is famous as scenes from Ryan’s Daughter were filmed here. I admit that I did “delete” some distractions.
C&C welcome and of course I hope it inspires some romance as well.
Probably a bit ikky for us PIl old farts …
Nice light. Perhaps needs a slightly lower perspective and a bit more light in the headland …
It’s a nice part of the world. Hopefully we’ll see more from you there …
Theres a lot to like here Helen. Good light, lovely colours in the sea, a bit of sunlight reflecting off the surface, waves rolling in, good exposure and composition. It’s one of those images that I’d like to be there for. The ‘I love you’ think it gives a strong focal point so can’t complain to much.
Only question is what are those 2 doing down there on the edge of the frame… and are they linked to the story you are telling? They appear to be literally ‘navel gazing’. I cannot work out if they are the happy couple or a random couple of blokes and hence they are a distraction. Had they been embracing or holding hands or something it would have made a nice link.however as they are I think thay are superflous to the image.
Apart from that – very nice.

Thank you for the feedback guys – other people I have shown this to like the fact that the couple are there and a few have said take them out – so its all in one’s own interpretation.
I didn’t really have the time to compose the shot better as we were leaving and I just quickly snapped and ran.
Ah BM every PI fart has a bit of romance in them somewhere :D :D :D :D
