The angle you have taken the shot doesn’t give a very good view of the cottage,
but maybe this was the best vantage point? A little more space on the left of
the frame would give the cottage a little more room to breath. Lots of potential

As Jenny says this location would seem to have loads of potential.
It’s a nice photgraph which I think is helped greatly by the cottage being so
attractive with its white walls, touches of red paint and the surrounding
foliage.I’m not a fan of colour popping so I think the 2nd version is much better.
Maybe there’s a better picture to be had, maybe not, but this is a good effort.

I actually prefer the 1st, its unusual and does make the roses stand out ,
