Took these just before being set on by an irresponsible dog owners dog ! Scared the crap out of me and my young daughter…..Seriously considering arming myself with something to deal with out of control dogs (or their owners!) in public places …seems you cannot go to a park or beach these days without getting set on by sparkey “who’s not normally like that” or “would’nt harm a fly”….If I hear that one again!, I wont be responsible!
Anyway enough of the rant…appreciate your comments as ever

peewee3ieMemberHi Ras,
I love the first one.
I also know what you mean about dog owners and there dogs. I was out a local beach one night they must have seen me drive pass and they rang the garda and reported me as I had a visit from them but they did not say much and left. when the garda left me they must have stop at the house told the owner that I am not doing what they say I was and I am taken photos as I had the owner of the house come down with there dog and they came at me from behind and told me if I did not leave there and then they would set the dog on me without letting me know that they where behind me. I jumped that much I almost knoked the camera into the water.
I said that this is a public place and I can come here and do what I want and if they have a problem with it I will ring the garda and we will sort it out that way then they took a baseball bat from side of there leg which I did not see and was told I have 5 mins to leave or they will smash the camera. I said ok and I will have the garda here in 2 and I did they got the baseball bat taken as they did not know that I had also got a camcorder on another trypod at the time and recording.
RASMITH32MemberThanks Tony and gee that does sound dodgy alright!,,……Not quite akin to my dog issues, well maybe that and more :-)
markst33Participantpeewee3ieMemberMarkst33,
I have just heard from a good friend that the ones that live near the beach have left and gone back to the states to live and someone local has bought the house and they are fine with ones on the beach at night as long as its not ones having a beach party.
Its only 2 week ago since they have moved out and I must pay that beach a visit and let the ones who live in the house now that I will be down at the beach from time to time taken photo of the night sky.
markst33Participantpeewee3ieMembermarkst33ParticipantI know the people who own Scotts Holiday Homes up there which are about 5 mins walk from Murvagh beach. I was up there a year and a half ago. Its a pretty big beach. Where did those people get the notion that they could somehow prevent the public from going there ? Nutters.

peewee3ieMemberI know what your saying Mark but sometime in the summer there is beach parties held in the car park at night and I think that what they think ones who go there at night are going to party.
That could be why they tried to stop people going to the beach late in the evening
