Cow Tipping

Going out on a limb and posting in the critique section first. Taken on a friends farm in Headford. Praise or bashing, either way it will be appreciated. Thanks!
hotjohn01ParticipantJust noticed the patterns on the rocks. I think the one on the left looks like a guy with his hand up to his face, and the one on the right looks like a french maid or something, thought id share :D
EDIT : Im not crazy, i meant the pattern on the rocks, not the rocks themselves :oops:texMemberI’m afraid the significance of ‘Title’ escapes me. Looking at your photo I see the cows then my eye is drawn down to the rocks in the foreground but I don’t see how they relate to the cows. The fact that the rocks take up a lot of your photo area means that they must be an important part of your composition.
FaultyShutterParticipantThanks for the feedback! Perhaps a title like “peeking over the wall” may have been more appropriate.
jessthespringerParticipantIt’s never easy making the first post, so well done.
This is interesting, but, I might agree with Tex on some levels, it’s almost as if you have two pictures here, you could split it right in the middle and have a cow picture and a rock picture. It would make a nice little diptych.
It’s also very contrasty, the highlights are blown, and while that’s not the crime some would make it out to be, you do need to keep an eye on them.
As for the title… Well, I can’t offer any help there, I’m prone to calling mine odd things too!
Keep posting!

shutterbugParticipantIsnt Cow Tipping when you go into a field of cows at night and try to scare them
into falling over?  The only reason I say that is watching the film
Cars two of the racers go into a field and scare the bejaysus out of the old tractors
and they all fell over…..hahaha I thought it was hilarious although maybe a bit mean.
(just a little bit) :lol:Anyway I do kinda like the picture whether that is down to the title and the memories
it evoked I dont know. :)Keep em coming.
FaultyShutterParticipantThanks for the imput! Im going to re-edit from the original version and post again on here to see how I can change the composition and flow of the picture around. Thanks again for looking :)
