On a Sunday evening – when I felt, the time was right – I took an egg
out, and thought, I would have a little chat with it.“So, how was your day?”
“Nothing special, sitting around, waiting for the big break.”
“You don’t have anything to tell me then?” – and, I know, I could have been a little bit more specific at this point, but I wasn’t sure how to put it.
It went pale, and nearly passed out right there, in the pan.
“No, not really, I don’t think there is anything you and me should or could discuss.” – said the egg.
We sat there for a while. The shoppers slowly all drove away from the mall across the road, the road sweeper started his endless night shift, and the city sky was all lit up.
“Are you sure, you want to hear this?” – whispered the egg.
MartinOCParticipantI like these more than the previous abstracts you posted, the textures look very interesting, it would be nice to examine the prints to see exactly how these work.
The second is a cracker (egg, cracker – geddit?), seriously #2 is marvellous, the first is good too but less obviously so.
The tones give a wonderful 3-dimensional nebulous quality.I would turn #1 180 degrees, it works much better for me that way, the form then is floating upwards into the light from its nest.
Very nice,
Martin
PS What did s/he say??? I can’t wait for the next instalment.
jb7ParticipantBest ones yet, I think-
more appealing than the hard-edged cut-outs, I think-The free range of tones works much better-
Were any eggs harmed in the making of this photogram?
especially, talented talking ones?randomwayMemberYou have to make sacrifice for art sometimes… an egg has paid with its life for these. He knew too much.
Thanks for the comments. I will hold an exhibition of these in 2056, you are all very welcome to have a closer look at the prints then. They are much better than on the monitor.
DenverDollParticipantHa…nice one Zoltan..hope you start a trend with a blend of the arts. Well done~~
