Could have been actually. 20 years ago  ,there was a local bus trip heading up there so a few of us decided to do it for the laff.
Clearly we had nothing else to do at the time :) Has to be said though that it was something else seeing dawn from the top…

    Great shot Sinead!

    Completely timeless indeed!

I’d love to do that walk..well with boots etc…maybe we’ll get it done this summer.

Have to say would be hard to come back with a photo better than this one.

Really love everything about it..comp..conversion..and subject all well covered.

Mark, I can only imagine what it must be like at the top at sunrise.. I’m going to be over that way later this year
will defo be going up Croagh Patrick but I’m thinking now I will make an effort and get up there really early.

Sharon, thank you very much, have you been threre before? I would defo suggest boots, but you will see plenty
of barefoot people too. It’s amazing you see people kitted out in the best of gear and then right next to them, you’ll
see someone in their saturday night shoes and a leather jacket!!

    When are you coming over?

    Hey Sinead~~

Will definitely make it over for a few days in late summer..maybe not until September..but that makes a good hike still..right?
Will bring both the boots and my own bare feet and go with the inspiration :D

    Cheers Myles,
that is a cool picture, really nice light, brooding atmosphere typical
    of Croagh Patrick.

    Sinead.
