This is a disused quarry within walking distance of where I live. It was only when I got home and got it up on the PC that I noticed the ghostly figure of an ancient beast rambling around on the top of the hill..lucky one that.

I like the composition and the clouds. The colours though, feel a bit flat, and the two black dots in the cloud are really distracting. Looks like it’d be a damn fun place to shoot though!
Bit flat no doubt. The original did not carry over to Imagecave very well, alas.
I have noticed that a lot of the good folk here use Flickr so I will investigate that when I get a chance.
The black dots are Crows but they are gone for a hop as soon as I figure out how to do it on Photoshop.
It is a wonderful place to shoot but the only problem is that, apart from being a well protected privately owned site – I had to cut a hole in the fence to even get in – there are a lot of guys moving about with serious guns, mostly illegal. They like to “shoot ” as well.
