Good one John-
maybe the dark branch at the bottom is a little too weighty,
I chopped it out with the browser window, and I think it makes the shot a little more graphic.
like a Liptons Tea Collectors Card-
Well done,
now away and have that shower,
you deserve it :D
Bizarre bird, beautifully exposed. I’d agree with
Joseph regarding the dark section along the bottom.
I’d be tempted too to chop a little from the rhs to
leave the image square. Lovely shot.
Taken in Glendalough, had two hides set up at one of their drinking points so i could try in both morning and evening. It was tough to say the least. Only got one drinking but it wasn’t sharp enough, there was up to 100 birds using the area. They sound very much like greenfinches, if you hear a flock of greenfinches in a conifer forest track them down, most likely to be crossbills in early spring.
