How many times have you composed a beautiful scene in the viewfinder, only to get home and realise just how obvious the pylons in the scene actually are (no matter how small)?
Well on this particular trip I set out to reverse the trend and tried to make the pylons a focal point in the landscape.
Great idea. I like the first one. Lots of depth and great use of an eyesore. Second one… I like it too, I think. I actually can’t make up my mind on it.
I hate pylons in landscapes but I like these photos.
The first one would be better for me without the the foreground with bushes and the small post.
The second photo is perfect. Like the composition and tones. Maybe the white around the pylon is too white……..
