    Do you plan to use it for your birds shots? Will not be disadvantage the high ISO….?

    Digiscoping was invented by the birders AFAIK. You really get slow shots though. I saw a guy in Belfast doing it with a video camera. It actually seems that all the adapters seem to be made for P&S cameras. I’ve seen loads of people asking for solutions for DLSR’s and never getting an answer.

    Noely, how does this shot compare to your 70-300? What ISO/aperture,shutter speed did you have to go to?

    I had the 50mm open at 3.2 , shot at ISO 400 at 80.
    This was the first test of the rig up, I’m waiting for good light and a closer subject to suss it out :wink:
    It has at least 4 times the reach of the Sigma but would only be useful for stationary objects…like herons for example :lol:
