Damaged card

Hi all,
I am completley devistated!! my Fuji XD card has a scratch on it and it says card error on the LCD when i put it in the camera. My favourite set of shots were on that card!!crap!
Does anybody know if there is any possiblity of retriving the data off the card now?

Have you tried it in a card reader? If it will recognise the card, but can’t read the data, try some file recovery software. If it won’t recognise the card at all, you may be able to send it off to a specialist data recovery firm, but could cost a bit..
