Some recent macros and closeups. All shot at iso 400 natural light with the d300 and sigma 150 macro + 1.4tc.
Straight from cam images just resized for web.

    d300 and sigma 100-300mm f4 + 36mm extension.

All very good I like the third best as so much is in focus in one go

Whenever i ry this sort of thing all i get is surreal blurs (and thats just tring to shoot a dandelion   )

Very impressive what sort of distance are you away from the subject?

    Pitmatic.

The 1st 3 shoots are with the 150macro + 1.4tc so id of been about 3 feet away, the last on is with my zoom lens and extension tube so it would possibly be about 6ft or so. All shots are manually focused for the subjects eyes. If i want all the subject in focus with macro then i shoot at f8-f11 (anything over f11 and defraction sets in very noticable on a3+ prints) and shoot parallel to the subject giving more a reference shot.
    Cheers for commenting.
