I don’t know what these are called, but I thought the
title might get you looking! lol!Orchids I think. I’m struggling a bit with a natural forms
assignment I’m working on, any c&c on these is most welcome.

Sinead.2 and 3 for me, there is just enough onformation to establish that they are indeed natural forms. And graceful ones too. Dancing ballerinas perhaps?
I like 1 & 2,
but in #1 I think the stem should be in focus, so perhaps more dof or move the focal point backward.
And #2 would be a lot better with more texture, I think.Thems my thoughts. but now I’m having second thoughts, the stem looks ok as it is in the first, hmm..

Martin, it’s taking a while to get used to this lens, manual focus is trickier than I
thought.. due to the fact that some muppit adjusted the eye piece on my camera
for me!! The flowers are very delicate (esp when shooting in direct sunlight) hard to
be exactly 100% bang on where I want to focus but I agree totally with what you are
saying about the texture.Cheers again,
