I was crossing the Pont d’Arcole towards Notre Dame when I stopped to photograph the street musician. after a few minutes, this couple justed started rock and roll dancing away to the music. Luckily I had the 10-20 wide angle on and was able to capture the whole scene.
However, I find myself drawn to the buildings via the sky in the background and I think thats because of the processing
which I don’t really like. It looks like HDR converted to b+w. Personally, street should be should only be about the people in the photo
and not about the processing which has taken place.
I like it, the background sets a context. Composition is good, perhaps a slightly shallower DoF would help, but I’d be very happy with this if I had taken it.
