Nice shot… great feeling to it. Is that a construction scaffold it’s lighting up?
I look at this shot and I have to wonder what exactly you want us to look at in it? The shot is pretty much dominated by pure black, which makes up the majority of the frame and then a large block of pure white where the light source is. Obviously there are some areas lifted from the shadows, but they dont seem to hold any detail of interest (or do they?). Not a shot for me I’m afraid – it doesn’t hold my interest.
Its a rollercoaster in the background.
Ciaran, its not nessesarily a fous shot its an athmosphere created by the shadows and the rollercoaster in the background. The whiteout casuse by the brighntness is a direct contrast to the shadow details.
But as the scaffholding is obviously part of the photo, shouldn’t it have some meaning too ?
