Haven’t been posting much lately, college life seems to take over these days.

So, here’s two form a recent trip to London, in the natural history museum, at the darwin centre. Cool place…

Very hard to get anything other than a cliche picture of this place, and very hard to get a picture that doesn’t have another photographer in it!
Though I had an empty scene, but obviously I didn’t. *sigh*

Inside the cocoon, cool lighting in there.

Sinead i like the light tones and the low angle in these pity about the figure only half
showing in the first still like it though and i think the figures in the second add to the
    shot.

    Nice Sinead-
I reckon they’re both better with the people in-

Ah ya, really like these Sinead, I’d echo the tones comment too.
The people add to them in my opinion. Gives it added focus.

The Lubitel is a great little camera, must use mine a bit more.

Really like the 2nd one, great perspective. Top results from the lubitel I must say

    Hi Sinead,

    I like both of these.
I like the shapes, angles, tones and the people.

    Nice viewing.

I like them both too. Very nice indeed. I don’t think they’d be as good without the people in them also.

Really great perspective too. Did you have it on the ground so as to keep it steady?

Thanks all for the comments, much appreciated.

I like the tones too, and the fine grain, seems a lot finer than Tri-X

I like the people in the second too, 1 second earlier or later in the first might have been better. Ah well…

Alan – I sat down on the floor to reload the camera, and thought, oh, this is cool. The second was a 2″ exposure, tripods are not allowed in these places so the floor was the only option.

The Lubitel is a great camera, really small and unobtrusive, and about 1/3 of the weight of the Mamiya. Perfect for travelling.

    Thanks again all.

very nice indeed, love the blurry foregrounds.

I think #2 is my fav.

    good images, really like them.

lubitel in my opinion is most definitely lo-fi with not so
    lo-fi image quality.
