Good game, crap weather.
Nice sense of movement and nice depth of field but extremley pixelated in the background. Spoils it a bit.
ISO was pushed way up, looks good on the orginal I have to say, but when ya convert to post up here the pixellation/noise really does become noticeable.
Their using the near exact same shot on the official magners league website, which I thought was cool, http://www.magnersleague.com/2056_2531.php
Will post one or two more up as day goes by, this one was not my favourite by a long shot anyway…
Ken a great capture he really looks like he is never going to be caught, great DOF great as it is but maybe as Paul has said crop it down, take his team mate out.

I don’t think the last image is that great. The image is cluttered with the fans, O’Gara has his head down, tongue out and eyes closed/down.
Nice idea though.

That was the idea, struck me as a picture of concentration, the fan clutter just add to that fact.
Poor guy didn’t get off the pitch for a good 15 minutes after the final whistle.
That’s some jump.
But, did he give away a penalty there, for bringing down the jumper??
Nice image.
nice set of shots, particularly when you know how muck the lighting situation is at the sportsgrounds.
