A Granite Monolith : High on a hill looking across the Vale of Avoca is an huge white granite boulder known as the “Motte Stone”. This stone seems to have been deposited on the hill by a receding glacier at the end of the last Ice Age.
Known locally as “Finn MacCumhail’s (pronounced “MacCool”) Hurling Stone”

I think I can see what you are tring to do here,
It’s a good shot as is ,but I’d suggest that you revisit when the wind is coming from a different direction,
If the cloud direction was coming from behind the rock I think it would make for a better composition,
As well as that I wouldn’t mind seeing a mono version,
wouldnt agree with the above comment I think that this image is all about the lovely pastel colours and tones. Nice placement too of the focal point in the image
