Nice action shot Noley. I believe it is a Ichneumon Wasp. Very difficult to identify within that family, exactly the spicies name.

I love Ichneumon wasps, especially the red ones…serious insects :DfguihenParticipantTriffic! Behavior like this is quite difficult to catch. luck has a bit to do with it, but also knowing your subject. Noely you seem to be great at catching interesting behavior.
you should be given a complementary ring flash and a 100mm macro lens, or an MPE-65! Id love to see what you would do with that kit!

Noely your macros always are a bit different from the norm(if there is such a macro) keep them coming mate.Soda
