I had posted some photos from the liberties in Dublin a few weeks ago, all taken at evening time,
these are a few more from before the sun set, when there were more people about. I must go back up there sometime.
I’d love to know what people think of them.
love that first one, its a great shot, nice exposure..
2nd image looks interesting, i think the expression would really make that photo but cant seem to load the lats wto – taking a very long time. The last one im not so sure about…
The first is a wonderful photo, pure class, I like the evoked atmosphere. I cannot link to a larger version though.
I like number 2 too, good shot.
With your previous posts you set the bar high for yourself, 1 & 2 meet this but I can’t see it in number 3.
your first posting set a standard, but you have certainly maintained it with these.
No. 1, as has been said, is a wonderful shot – I love the colours and the general “wartorn”
feeling, it’s great.
One small suggestion is that you might lose a little of the foreground roadway.
No. 2, all that can be said is wonderful – lovely candid shot – nice and simple. The child
has that dreamy feel that kids have when they are just hanging out – and the bars add
a lovely quality.
No. 3 is the “weakest” – I think the lady with the white coat, and to a lesser extent, the cars,
distract from the main subject.
By co-incidence, I was down that way today – just on a sentimental visit – took a few shots, but I
struggled to minimise the CARS everywhere – those streets wern’t made for them!
