Well i went back 6 pages and could only find 3 from my neck of the woods so i thought i would put one of mine from Lecanvey just under Croagh Patrick on a rare calm sea.

When posting, just below the text box on the left you have the option of “Add image to post”. If you preffer to use another hosting service or to display the image in full size on the boards you can include the URL on “” tags.

I’m not a pro at posting images myself, but i’m sure Mark will help you further when he gets on!

Tara,

FYI, you’re not going to be able to embed images from your site as you’re
site doesn’t give the name of the image, just a link to it.

Oh i see Mark.

Is it ok then to put a link to the site pic as i have or is that not preferred or allowed?

You’ll find that most members won’t want to click it to be honest.

Use the ‘Add image to post’ link at the bottom of a post if you don’t want
to put your pic on flickr or one of the other sites.

This is what it looks like when posted using the ‘Add image to post’ link.
At least people will get a look at a version of the image before they click on it
to see it full size.

Not at all Tara :) Lots of members run into trouble until they get used to it :D

If you want you can put 50 images into your gallery space here and link from there.
I posted instructions to your post in the general questions forum on how to use that.

Oh and its free.
