I would be interested in what you think of this man and his site.
I admit you have to read about him and what he is and why he is doing what he does but i just think he looks at photography from more of a business point of view than an arty point of view.
I know some will push it aside but as 10cc. once said ” Art for art sake money for gods sake ” ( i think thats what they said anyway ) :lol: ( twas a long time ago )
I think he’s the living proof of his own advice
i.e. being a successful (in earning terms) photographer is 80% business/marketing and 20% photography.I like his many of his ideas and his willingness to share lots of information on the website.
I’ve also bought both the books, and learnt quite a bit from them.His photography is good enough – but doesn’t really shatter any artistic barriers or particularly appeal to me.
However, nothing bad about it either.
