Delicate Drops

Took this the other morning in my front garden after dropping the kids to school.

Very little editing, levels to boost contrast, USM and crop.
Took a whole load of shots that morning as the spiders had been very busy during the night !!

Question is (before I go off and spend hours checking the rest of the shots) is this a generally appealing kind of shot – or just a bit boring ?

Also, any tips on how to improve very welcome.

I really like this…sort of abstract isn’t it? Looks like a necklace!
I definitely don’t think its boring, but I’m not sure if there are any improvements to be made.

I really like this Kevin. As to whether you should put any more effort into your other shots, that depends what you want to do with them and whether you find them appealing :-)

Print and frame a series of them, maybe? Perhaps a single square print, split into quarters, with a different image from the series in each corner (different zoom/level of detail for each shot), would work nicely?

Minor point – there are a few little marks, middle right of the shot, which you should probably burn out (under the horizontal strings of drops). Anyway, I particularly like the subtle colours – pink and green, the distribution of which is almost split diagonally across the shot… it has a simple structure but also a certain depth which I didn’t expect. Nice one.

    Take it easy,
    Dave.
