Jeex these are all top class! What is it about that past of the World that produces such talented photographers…….are there secret classes that we aren’t invited to?
Seriously, I would buy these if they were of somewhere I had an affinity with. As it is, my only time in Derry was 2 weeks in Altnagelvin having what remained of my right mincer removed as an 8 year old. So I now have 4 eyes, and 3 of them are glass! :lol:0PeteTheBlokeMemberThey are crackers AJ. So many times I’ve driven over the Foyle Bridge and told myself that I MUST come and take some pictures of the city.
Brandyman – Andy’s a Scot and AJ’s Dutch. I’m not a very talented photographer, but for what it’s worth, I’m Welsh. Interesting to hear about your eye – painters often shut one eye to “flatten” a scene. Maybe it’s not such a handicap when it comes to visual arts. (Sounds like I’m going to start whistling “Always Look on the Bright Si-ide of Life”)

Someone on a course told me that it was an advantage to see with one eye for photography, as that is how the camera sees……but I’m stiull waiting to see the benefits!
0LoGillParticipantAJ .. another stunner :)
I love the first ( see bad habit – i have to pick one ) particularly because of the hint of light in the sky , but they area all gorgeous
Keep Posting !

0mgstParticipantThree beautiful images but the first works best for me with the cloud detail.

0JohnnyMcMillanParticipantYup like the first one best cos as LoGill suggested, a hint of light in the background….and also that it doesn’t have “derry” plonked by the side…in an instance like this, putting that it is “derry” in the shot, might be better in the border, but not in the photo, with white against black
