When I first looked, I thought the foreground grass interfered with the scene
a bit, but looking at the scenes without it I have changed my mind. It is a lovely
shot and I love the calmness of it.
This is the main Clifden-Galway road but theres no major towns around this location – I imagine the pylons were erected long before there were many regulations. I think they tried to cut the corner rather than following the road, saving money by taking the shortest route? Just a guess…
