Trying new desserts and playing with the camera go very well together!

Cetainly looks tasty.
I think the very shallow DOF is maybe a tad harsh. Just feel like I’m struggling a bit to see more, especially on the second picture with such a wide array of different fruits, of whats actually on show.Although that could be a desired effetc, introduce a bit of intrigue and all that. Colours could be a tiny bit punchier as well, both images look a tad dark on my screen (uncalibrated though so I probly shouldn’t comment on that)

Thanks for the comments. I can see where you are coming from with the punchier colours.
I have this unexplainable thing for shallow DOF though, but I can see what you mean. It could show more of the delicious fruits ;)
I really like the first shot here esp.
In regards to the colour.. I think they could so with being punchier int he second one as it’s fruit and they loose some of their ‘juiciness’ by looking duller.
However I think the colours are spot on for the top dessert. Very cosy and warm and homely while also looking elegant.
