Took this last weekend…thought it was a bit different.

Has there been some dodging and burning around the rocks or is it just the effect of a slow shutter? There seems to be something not right where the rocks meet the water, especially on the right hand side. The spinning is pretty cool though

Thanks Ballyman…not much going on really….3.2 sec exposure at f22,
no dodging or burning..just lifted the overall exposure in photoshop by
about half a stop. There is lots of froth by the rocks as the torrent of
water coming down the river was fairly strong after all the rain last week.

Very nice Noel. Love the way the whole image seems to have circular references running through it.

I’d be interestested to see a polaized version if you have one?

I think the twirls “make” the picture. Nice one.

Thanks everyone for all the comments…sorry Mr.H..no polarized shot of the
scene…had one with me…but i was trying to keep the autumn colour reflection
in this scene..in hindsight i should have taken one with and without a polarizer.
Had seen this effect in pictures before and it was something that i was always
looking for but never found the right location…got lucky with this scene as it was
    my first visit there.
