I keep going back to the Burrow in Rosslare. I found this man digging for worms. He also gave me a free lecture on the Eco system of the area.

Yes, the man completes the scene. Lovley tone to it.

Thats a really strong image and it has a really faithfull feel to it its nice to see something that looks polished but not worked on.

    Smashing shot John,
Someone else used the term “strong image”,and I’d agree with that,
    Loads of interest,
    Technically it’s spot on,
Would make for a fine fine print,
    Well done.

Many thanks to you all for your much appreciated comments.

The man definitely introduced a new dimension to this much photographed scene.
He was moving about quite a bit and I was chasing up and down trying to get a composition.

    Cheers,

    John.

    Hi John,

I was lucky with this one in that it didn’t seem to need much processing.
Just for the record this was what I did.

    Opened RAW file.
Used RECOVERY slider to recover a little detail around the sun.
Used BLACK slider to recover a little detail in shadows.
Adjusted the WHITE BALANCE a little towards the cooler side.

    Opened into PE8.
Cropped a little from the bottom as there was some debris there which I found distracting.
    A little sharpen.

Resized for the web with IrfanView.

    That’s it.

    Thanks for the nice comments.

    John.
