dilemma over Arts Award

Hi, I got an ADF award with over £1,500 to use for equipment and lessons.
But I am ill now and a lot is happening.
I have applied to county council for rehousing in a downstairs apartment and their is trouble there.
I am now using a motorised scooter
recently fell in flat.
I am in fact wojus.
Am I wrong to give this award money back.
If i do not fulfil the award project as applied, then it has to go back in full.
I am worried that it will be added strain.
What would any of you think?
there is a possiblity to apply again another year.
At present things are going from bad to worse.
