Display your work in my restaurant with a view to selling it

I have around 9 photographers in total displaying images at present. (also a few images from NCAD). Sales have been ok so far. 3 sales with another 3 going through this week. We’ve also have a flickr group to archive images from both past and present.
As i said in my original post this is an opportunity for photographers to display images in an environment where the general public can appreciate them. Sales are an added bonus.
Feel free to drop by and see whats it’s all about.
I will be looking for more photographers to contribute in the coming week. Look for posts on this thread

iv been in there so many times i love the place. wish my stuff was decent enough to go one omeones walls :D someday!! (someday i also hope to have enough money to buy some :lol: )
Wow what a brilliant idea, just to even get your stuff out there where people can see it and you can get some feedback would be so enlightening, I’ll definetly take a trip in sometime :-)
yes jaqian, I’m involved, but have been away so one of the others might correct me on this.
All the shots are now hanging in Nude and there has been interest in some, and purchases of others. An excellent idea and a great oppertunity that all of us involved owe Martin a debt for.
This is great idea and very welcomed.
I’m just wondering if there is a style of shot that you are looking for.
Is there any guidelines to what will be displayed.I thought, I would brag a bit and promote this exhibition thing in the Nude. I’ve just got a call from Martin, the manager of the restaurant that I sold a print there. This was the most expensive picture I ever sold during my long-long half a year career ;) I am going to print another picture, hang it up and send the rest of the money to the Irish Seal Sanctuary. It’s a bit sad that I sold it, I wanted to keep it secretly :)

I don’t know which one was that, didn’t ask.
Selling photos in Ireland is not easy in general I would say. I have a stack of prints now that no one wants to buy, so I will pop over to Amsterdam or Barcelona in the summer and try to sell them on the streets.
I didn’t expect to sell any to be honest, even displaying the photos in a public space is a good feeling. Now a mysterious person enjoys the sight that I’ve seen when I took the picture… good for him/her.
