I work with this girl from India and she has fantastic eyes so I asked her if she would model for me when a group of us from the camera club went on a photoshoot and she said yes. Always wanted to shoot someone from a different ethnic group with their own clothes and approach to be being photographed whilst remaining aware of cultural differences and what poses would be acceptable for western models could be unacceptable to others.
Anyway, fair play to her. First time doing anything like this :)
I think the first one does the job. Not sure if B&W is a good choice as the colours seem really important.
I like the B&W’s, as I think the saturated facial make up detracts from the colour images, perhaps a slightly toned down or mellow split toning colour rendition Mark?
great set of images, 2nd is my fav. beautiful tones, lighting and pose looks just right.
