Very nice image, it has a dramatic feel to it.The sun kept drawing my eye at first, but I had a look at the bigger size on your Flickr page and the sun drew my attention less.
sndipoMemberI like it. It might look B&W but for some reason it has a blueish haze to it (could be the late time and/or my wonky eyes).? Well done on first post anyway, next time just try posting them a bit larger than this ;)
AnonymousParticipantIf you want serious critique, at least post it to a reasonable size.
If you that paranoid………………………….
FrostyJackParticipantThanks Guys. like i said, new here. will do better. At leat I have identified the the ubiquitous forum Mr Angry on day one. :D
MauricegParticipantFrostyJack – photo is great with lovely tones etc and for a first shot on here its well worth showing off. Nice to see someone capturing the sea as it is, rather than softening it with a filter (something I’m guilty of!). Also had a look at your photostream, love the hurling pictures. And you’re a rare bird on here, shooting with a Pentax. How do you find it?
And remember, don’t feed the trolls ;)
IsabellaParticipantlooked on flickr at the big version – beautiful image!
I really like the sun and the level of contrast. is it infrared?FrostyJackParticipantThank you for your comments and and advice taken Mauriceg. The Pentax kx is my first dslr and it suits my talent perfectly (entry level). Having said that, i have several lenses now so i guess i’ll upgrade to another Pentax. Something weather sealed.
Again, thank you for your comments

I really like the sun and the level of contrast. is it infrared?no its not infrared Isabella. Sometimes i just pour on the contrast and then do a B&W conversion. sometimes it works.
