Nicely lit Ashley,
though I find the colour confusing in the second-
As the sky is the same colour as the walls-In fact, the exterior almost reads as another wall…
The light coming in through the door is also a slightly odd colour, and quite sharply defined-
perhaps a slightly more diffuse source might have softened the edges a bit-Smaller details, although somebody might like the flowers,
I find them a distraction in the middle of the picture,
and they might have worked elsewhere,
or the picture might have been just fine without them-Perhaps the hotel provides them, and wanted to show them…
Also, the purlin creeping into the top of the shot is perhaps a bit unnecessary-Good lighting in the first too,
though I think I noticed a before shot earlier-
I wonder do they learn anything from your lighting,
or is it back to ‘business as usual’ as soon as you leave…AshleyParticipantjb7 wrote:

miki gParticipantHi Ashley. I think you’ve done a great job with these. Nice warm, inviting shots.

Thanks
That was pretty much what they asked us for.
BallymanParticipantNice stuff Ashley.
Did you use your own lighting for these or just natural and the rooms own lights? I’m presuming you used your own lights out on the balcony for the second one as I doube you’d get that much light at sunset??

Yes.
I think we ended up used 6 lights to light the fireplace image – but only used 2 lights for the bedroom image.crampParticipantHi Ashley,
Great Interior Shots, Just curious what lens did you use?
Have you ever considered using HDR to shot some interior shots?
Cheers,
Marc
