Nice dramatic sky down Rosslare way this evening.
Very windy and hard to keep anything steady.
Also had F5.6 set from earlier.
Did I make best use of the sky?

    Hey John

    I do like the shot
The light rays peering through the clouds is great
I cant help thinking if the shot needs the boat as I think it draws away from the sky
    Only my opinion

Is it a photo of a nice sky with a boat in the foreground or a photo of a boat with a nice sky in the background.
Personally I like the photo as it is and maybe I would have made the sky along the top of the frame a fraction darker as it draws the eye slightly. Otherwise an excellent shot.

Really nice shot. The sunbeams are fantastic…This shot really reminds me of a postcard you might pick up in a gift shop somewhere

    Hi All,

And again many thanks for taking the time to reply.
    It is greatly appreciated.

Cathal that is an interesting question and the thought crossed my mind
    when I came home.
I had the wellies in the car and probably could have gone the far side of
the boat to take the sky on its own.
Hopefully a sky like that will turn up again and the tide will be out.

David the question re which is the subject is a good one. I will look at
    your other suggestion later.

    Thanks Darran for your comments.

    Cheers,

    John.
