I like thre first one…I think I’d have shot it straight on as the left side of the image is dead space and a bit distracting, or maybe with the road in somehow. The colours are great.

i could always crop i suppose,
there were buses pulling up to my left all the time so thats the reason for not shooting head on
thinking back about it ….it was to get a vibe of street scene of B.A. so maybe thats why i left them in
god it was ages ago, some time in may at the very start of my trip
These are very good shots, especially considering that they were handheld in such low light. I’m not sure how well the rotation works. At any rate, they remind me of a comment a top photographer made on an image of mine at a competetion night at the Banbridge Camera Club. The image was of a Venetion church at night. His comment was “The best nighttime shots are not taken at night at all. They are take just as the lights are switched on in the evening and the exposure does the rest.” I hadn’t realised that, but I’m going to experiment with it asap. Below is the image I shot:
