    I’m with Dave on the harsh light, especially in the first one, but other than that great captures.
    In the second it seems to have blown the green from the grass which is a bit of a shame, but its still a cracking shot because of the bending of the grass for some munching.
    Catching insects is good, but interesting behaviour like this sets a photograph apart.

    There might be some work needed on your exposure metering, if you are focusing close on a darkish object the camera can be fooled into thinking the environment is dark so over-exposes a bit. I’m not sure this is a problem here but it might be worth “exposure bracketing” to get a feel for it.
    Just a thought.

    Bracketing may have been good here. I have more simailer shots still to look at.
