Out for a mosey along the Boyne in Slane and came across this little fella.

I take it these were hand held as there looks to be a bit of camera shake especially in the second one. The DOF in both is very shallow especially the second one. Well done in getting the 2 shots I haven’t been so lucky.Soda
Thanks Carl, yes, they are hand held with 70-200 almost at the limit. Far from ideal.
It’s a subject I’ve never caught before but I can see the attraction.
We had tripods with us but we didn’t think we’d have the time to set them up before it flew away, as it turned out we would have but that’s the way things go.
