Enjoyed a drive down the Ards Peninsula last Sunday in beautiful Spring weather. This was a scene I came across as I walked down to the beach just past Millisle.
The mist just crept in from the sea as I watched and I love the almost alien quality it lends to the people.
That’s very nice-
you can’t beat a bit of assistance from the atmosphere-
That said, I think all the interest in this shot is in the top half,
or even the top right corner-
I’m not sure that all that foreground is adding anything-
Helen very nice I agree with Joseph on this one that there is maybe too much space around the main subject. Do a Trevor with a couple of bits of card and view it diffferently but as I said a nice one.
Interesting image. Almost like a colour pop with that little bit of red
on the child’s jacket. A little too much space perhaps, but a nice
atmospheric scene…
Thanks for the input. I have tried various crops – the original is much wider – but somehow this was the one I stopped at. Perhaps because they were very distant from me in reality, it just seemed to suit.
