I like it, it’s usually a busy place, good to get it empty for the 8 shots.

Nicely stitched, though there is a bit of distortion going on along the horizon,
the pier kind of overpowers the picture though and I think that if you had moved
nearer the end and had a bit of space between the end of the pier and the horizon
it would have improved the composition, just my opinion though!

Thanks Shutterbug, I think I agree with you on the wall – it does appear to be too ‘big’ in the picture. I might try a different crop with less pier and more sky. I’m not sure if that is actually distortion at the sides, but rather the two sides of the bay coming out towards the sea (IYKWIM?)

crap, it’s even protected from me on my own site !!

I made a crop of it and pisted on Flickr here – http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4028/4400813113_4001d277d8_o.jpg. This version is bit muddy, due to the crop and saving a jpg with lower quality to reduce filesize

I like the cityline colors and the clouds display, that’s something that I’m always gonna fall for. I’m no authority in (panoramic) photography, although it seems that’s my main interest, but It would’ve been much better with less of the pier wall and more sky?
